Role Summary:
The Principal Researcher/Associate Scientist will play a critical role on a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, focusing on LC-MS/MS bioanalytical and in vitro ADME assay technologies. Responsibilities include:
- Developing bioanalytical methods for quantitative analysis of small molecules using LC-MS/MS.
- Conducting in vitro ADME studies, including metabolic stability, CYP inhibition, plasma protein binding, and reaction phenotyping.
- Analyzing pharmacokinetic data and preparing detailed reports.
- Maintaining workflow logistics, coordinating with internal and external collaborators, tracking study statuses, and managing data in company databases.
- Ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and contributing to mechanistic ADME studies or scientific publications when required.
Key Qualifications:
- B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or M.S. with 2+ years of experience in industry or a relevant field.
- Expertise in in vitro ADME studies and analytical techniques (UPLC/HPLC, Triple Quad/TOF Mass Spectrometry).
- Familiarity with bioanalysis of antibody/ASO using ligand binding assays (LBA, ELISA) is a plus.
- Proficiency with data analysis software (e.g., Excel, GraphPad, Phoenix).
- Knowledge of electronic notebooks and mechanistic DMPK is advantageous.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team setting.
